Carpet-topped 480mm heavy duty furniture skate with rubber edge

Carpet-topped skates offer an alternative to our rubber-topped skates. They’re perfect for those jobs when you need to s-l-i-d-e loads on and off your skate easily, without any friction. Or when carrying delicate or easily-marked items that require a softer carrying surface than ribbed rubber.

Rather than using brand new carpet, we’ve sourced A-grade recycled, or unused overstock, carpet tiles from Envirocycle London Ltd. These have been recovered from refurbished offices and diverted from landfill.

With its protective rubber edge, the 480mm carpet-topped skate is essentially a variation on Evo’s trusted 480mm Heavy-duty Furniture Skate. With non-marking 100mm blue elastic wheels, it boasts the same robust loading capacity of up to 600kg*. The rubber edge protects walls, door-frames, etc from damage – and can also help to prolong the life of the skate itself.
