Using a carpeted skate rather than a rubber-topped skate allows you to slide loads on and off easily, without friction, making them ideal for certain moving tasks. Carpeted skates also offer that subtle, extra layer of cushioning for when you are transporting delicate or easily marked items that might be more at risk if carried on a ribbed rubber skate. With an eye on sustainability, wherever possible – depending on the desired size and colour specification – we use A-grade recycled or unused overstock carpet tiles, recovering carpet tiles from refurbished offices and diverting them away from landfill.
