Big News from Evo Supplies

We are delighted to announce a new addition to the Evo Supplies range of removals equipment: welded aluminium piano trolleys.

Earlier this year, Evo Supplies acquired from Alan Stuart Engineering Ltd of Salford the manufacturing rights and production machinery to make six models of aluminium piano trolleys (aka piano trucks or piano wheels) that have long been regarded as the strongest and most reliable on the UK market.

With both our companies having earned a reputation for manufacturing the highest specification moving equipment in their sectors, our mutual commitment to uncompromising quality makes this acquisition a perfect fit for Evo Supplies, allowing us to expand and grow as a company and take our offering as a UK manufacturer to the next level.

For many decades considered the ‘gold standard’ piano trolleys in the market, all six models in our new aluminium range have been designed and built with quality and safety very much in mind.

Each Evo aluminium trolley is built in our Essex workshop, using components manufactured in the UK, and is perfect for moving grand pianos, upright pianos, electric organs and a huge range of other hefty or awkward loads.

Based on the original design and build, our trolleys are of welded construction – their sturdy frames are manufactured without using bolts or pins that can work loose over time, and they have been described by our customers as ‘virtually indestructible’.

Their method of manufacture means our trolleys are extremely rigid and strong, capable of safely carrying up to 750kg in weight (with two heavy-duty models supporting up to 800kg) for years to come, and truly standing the test of time.

Each trolley in the range is fitted with robust, UK-made wheels supported on steel axles, and various specifications, configurations and frame options are available depending on your particular requirements.

Whether you’re moving items inside or outdoors, on flat surfaces or bumpy, uneven terrain, you’ll find a reliable solution amongst our six models. The four ‘Standard’ models have British-made, 8-inch solid rubber wheels. For heavier-duty jobs, check out the 10-inch all-terrain diamond-tread pneumatic tyres of the Evo Heavy Duty Aluminium Piano Trolley / Truck with Pneumatic Tyres ESPT1HP and the large puncture-proof wheels of the Evo Heavy Duty Aluminium Piano Trolley / Truck with Puncture-Proof Tyres ESPT1HGT.

The trolleys are all fitted with non-marking rubber end buffers on each corner to minimise damage to users and surroundings, and topped with ribbed, non-slip rubber blocks to prevent slippage and provide extra grip and support for any precious cargo which in transit. Wheels are secured with split pins or lynch pins, depending on the model, for easy changing of worn or damaged wheels, and axle ends are neatly finished with hub caps.
